Discussion around L2 blockchain research and development. What are the major challenges for L2s to advance, and what solutions are being explored? What will the L2 space look like next year and beyond? The talk will be illustrated with examples from Arbitrum’s research and development.
Ed Felten is Co-founder and Chief Scientist at Offchain Labs, the original developers of Arbitrum. He was previously a professor at Princeton University, and served in the White House as Deputy U.S. Chief Technology Officer. He is a member of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and a Fellow of the ACM.
